CYO Travel Basketball

St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church in Dix Hills, NY offers travel basketball to the children of the local community in association with the Nassau Suffolk CYO program. Children of all religious faiths are welcome to participate in our travel program subject to the geographic eligibility requirements of the CYO program.

CYO Program 2013-2014

The 2013-2013 program is open to children entering 4th grade or higher as of September 2012 subject to the formation of a team at that age level. Team rosters are selected by coaches with eligible players required to attend in person tryouts.

Eligibility for the travel program is based on CYO geographic restrictions and St. Matthew's travel selection policy. Please refer to the following documents for additional information on the eligibility requirements.

Fees

The registration fee is $220 and must be paid in full prior to tryouts. Players not selected for a travel team will be given the option of a full refund, or registration in the
intramural program with a refund of the difference in fees. Players chosen for a CYO team may also choose to participate in the St. Matthew Intramural program at a reduced rate of $100. There will be NO refunds once a player is placed on a roster after tryouts. FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE UNIFORMS.

Uniforms

All players must wear the travel uniform (jersey and shorts) to all games. Players who played in the prior year travel program may re-use their uniforms if so desired. New uniforms may be purchased for $65. Uniforms can be paid for when you register. They will not be distributed until players have been selected and placed on a roster. Additional sale dates will be published when determined.

Registration

Please Do Not mail or drop off form prior to the tryout date. The completed form and payment should be handed to the coach at the tryout.There will be NO refunds once a player is placed on a roster after tryouts.
